Before my court date, if I apply for a job and disclose my arrest, will my arrest record show up on a background check?

More details to this question:
I've recently been terminated for theft within the company I worked for. In hindsight, I've shouldn't have done what I did. I was arrested and booked but the officer didn't place me in jail because I was cooperative along with the investigation. The former employer is pressing charges and I am due for a court date for felony theft because the amount taken was within the range of a felony ($1,600). I've agreed to paid restitution and claim responsibility for my actions to the investigator of lost prevention within the company. I am currently seeking a criminal defense attorney to plea my case and help direct the prosecutor to a diversion program in which I will take classes, attend community service, and be on probation in which the felony charges will be dropped to a gross misdemeanor. If my former company is pressing charges, will it be on the same case that I will be trial for? If this is my first offense (beside a few traffic violations (seatbelt, driving on a suspended license.) will my plea hold up? Essentially, I'm trying to turn my life into a better and more honest directions and I need to convey it to the judge and prosecutor.
Your arrest may or may not show up on a background check at this point. Were you photographed and fingerprinted? You're on the right track in looking to hire a lawyer and getting into a diversion type option. Feel free to contact me with further questions.
