More details to this question:
I was pulling into my garage and right when I was going to close it, I see lights behind me. So I'm in my garage and the cop walks in it. Is that legal for them to do?
Maybe. Maybe not. Generally, police can't enter your home without a warrant. There are exceptions to that rule though. The exceptions include consent, exigent circumstances, hot pursuit, among others. You need a lawyer to look closely at your circumstances.
