Can a DANCO order be dropped if it was not requested at the first hearing?
Asked on Aug 31st, 2016 on Criminal Law - Minnesota
More details to this question:
I am the victim in this case and wish to have a DANCO dropped. I did not request to have the DANCO dropped at the first hearing as I did not know that I could. I have written several letters to the judge and requested this to my advocates. What should I do next?
Have a lawyer help you. Either hire one of your own or reach out to the defendant's attorney. Either way, a request should be submitted to the court and you should have a chance to stand before the judge and make your request.
