Can a District Attorney recall a warrant?

More details to this question:
An altercation happened to m. I had charges brought against the individual for what he did to me. A warrant was issued for his arrest. Three weeks later, I find out the DA recalled the warrant and it's been "canceled". There was no legal representation used by either party. 1. Can the DA just recall a warrant? 2. If not, what actions can/should I take?

A DA cannot recall a warrant but can go to a Judge and asked that the warrant and case be dismissed.
