Can a DUI stop me from getting a carrying a concealed weapon?

More details to this question:
I am not yet charged with DUI but will be soon, and I wanted to see if that will stop me from obtaining a concealed carry permit. Can someone help? Thanks. It's my first offense.

Yes it can since in most States they do not want drunks carrying guns.

Instead of worrying about your gun license, you need to focus your attention on how you can avoid being convicted. You need to hire a DUI specialist, and do it soon because you have only 10 days to save your license.

Yes, it can. A conviction for a DUI will result in Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) denying you a concealed carry permit. This period will last for at least 6 years from the end of your probation. You should hire a lawyer immediately to help you avoid a conviction.
