can a probation officer by law violate a person if he/she knows that there are mental disorders that the person on probation has and is unmedunoffende

My son has mental disorders,he is on probation,he has posttraumatic stress disorder,bi-polar,adhd,and anxiety disorder,his Po is in close communication with his ex ,who is just out to destroy him,she emotionally abbuses my son continuously,they have 2 children together.my son is self medicating himself ,with Suboxone,and marijuana.he is in the process of getting his insurance straighted out,with his Po knowing his mental health,should she by law get him help instead of incarceration,which she has done 3prior times before with Devin my son repeating the same cycle,i don't know what to do to help him,they just keep destroying him to the point he has lost all hope
