Can a sentence be modified to receive the same amount of time as the co-defendent on the same case?

More details to this question:
One co-defendent was sentences to a total of 5 yrs.3 yrs for gun specification and 2 yrs on involuntary manslaughter. While the other co-defendent was sentenced to 3 yrs gun specification, 3 yrs weapon under disability, and 15 yrs to life for murder.
