QUESTION

Can an attorney represent me and someone else against 2 other people?

More details to this question:
My friend and I are getting charged with Injury to Real Property because we were with two others that egged a house. Well, we literally did not have anything to do with it except sit in the car. We told the people to not do it, but they didn't listen. Then they made threats to us and the cops have it documented. My friend's mom and dad might split the cost of an attorney at $7500. Can one represent us both and get the charge dropped to where it says not trespassing on a background check? I'm joining the National Guard soon!

A lawyer may represent both defendants as long as doing so doesn't create a conflict. You both need to sign documents that allows for dual representation.
