Can I apply for residency in Florida while on probation in Michigan?

More details to this question:
I was convicted with a DUI offense 6/8/20 with two years probation, I am currently living in Florida (I have permission from court/probation officer). I want to become a permanent resident for employment reasons, etc.. I have zero violations on my probation & have fulfilled all requests for fees & community service hours served.

I do not see why not. But, just run it by your probation officer first.
