More details to this question:
Jun I was driving my husband car his light was out so the cop pulled me over. He asked me for my registration and license I gave it to him he comes back ask me who the car belong to I said my husband he then tell me my registration was suspended. I contact DMV they told me that my husband reg was fine dont know why I got the ticket. I go to court and explain that my registration is suspended but my license was fine I don't own a car and I didn't restore it is because 1 I didn't have the money and 2 I wasn't planing on getting a car. The judge told me that eventhough my license are good that I can't drive no one car until I restore my registration. I was told before I come back to court I have to get my registration restored. your driving license is for you to drive a vehicle. the registration is for the vehicle showing that the vehicle is 'registered' in NJ with DMV. if you are driving, you must have a valid license and the vehicle must have a valid registration. the NJ DMV records showing the valid license and valid registration must be brought to court if you want to be found 'not guilty'. ed dimon, esq.
