QUESTION

Can I be convicted for having drugs mailed to my house?

Asked on Dec 03rd, 2013 on Drug Crimes - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
Someone i know recently used a online marketplace (Silk Road) to buy drugs, and send them to my house. The police were monitoring the vendor who mailed the drugs, so they now have my name and adress along with the package. I never possessed the package nor did I order it myself. If they can't trace the order back to me, can I be convicted?

You could be, if they can prove that you actually ordered them or if you willingly acted as a "straw purchaser" for another. You may want to consult with an attorney before you give any statements to the police.
