I was driving in bucks county Pennsylvania doing the speed limit, not changing lanes or doing anything suspicious when I was pulled over for "something leaking from the back of my car" which I know for a fact my car does not leak. When the cop asked me for my license I began looking for my ID card and could not find it. The cop said "its okay (and addressed me by my full name) I know who you are and I know you have a dui suspension. Another officer came over to the passenger side of my car and began looking in my window around my car for anything suspicious I’m guessing. The first cop asked me to come to the back of my car where I would be video recorded when they began questioning me about drug use. They asked when the last time I "used" was and that someone had told them that I was "using drugs". When I informed them that I DO NOT use drugs they kept pressing the issue accusing and questioning me of drug use. The cop then wrote me a ticket for driving on a dui suspension and my friend came and picked me up from the scene when they told me I could leave. I would like to know if this is considered profiling for "knowing who I was" before pulling me over for "something leaking from my car" when there is not leak, and if their accusations of my "drug use" (which I do not use drugs) is considered harassment. Can this even be held up in court under the circumstances?
