Can I expunge a charge from 26 plus years ago?

I have a felony burglary charge on my record from 1984. It has not been an issue but now I need to get it cleaned. Can you expunge a charge from so long ago?

Yes in Nevada you can have your record sealed, which makes it as though the conviction never happened in the first place.

You can only expunge cases that resulted in a not guilty or were dismissed. It does not matter how old the case is.

Yes, you can expunge your record after all these years. However, no all charges are expungable. See your state statutes for which are not.

There is information about sealing of criminal records on my website. Based on the information you provide, it is unlikely that you can seal or expunge a felony burglary conviction.

If you did prison time you will have to do a certificate of rehabilitation. Otherwise you can do an expungement.

No. Felony burglary is not on the list of convictions that are eligible for expungement.
