can I expunge a misdemeanor that resulted in deffered adjudication?

More details to this question:
I have two charges from many years ago that I would like to seal before I apply to Nursing school. The charges do not show up on my record, but can be accessed by the police department that they occurred at.

If you successfully completed the deferred adjudication, the cases can be sealed; they cannot be expunged. Sealing the records will prevent most hiring companies from seeing the records. I don't believe the Nursing Board would be subject to the sealing order. Still, it is generally considered better to seal records that are eligible than to leave them out there in the open.
