QUESTION

Can I get a DUI if blood tests came back negative?

Asked on Sep 24th, 2015 on DUI/DWI - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
I was in a car accident on 7/15/15. I was at fault for the accident. I had a substance in the vehicle, but the blood tests from the hospital came up "negative". I need to find out if I will be charged with a DUI/DWI. I have had no contact with police since the accident (was never questioned).

You may be charged, maybe not. No one really know. You may get charged for the "substance" if it is controlled and you have no prescription. Whatever you do, do not talk to the police. Get a lawyer now or as soon as you get paperwork in the mail which will be a summons and Notice of Preliminary Hearing.
