QUESTION

Can I get a work provisional license if license has been suspended?

Asked on Oct 10th, 2012 on DUI/DWI - South Carolina
More details to this question:
I received DUI 5 years ago in sc. The suspension was only for 3 yrs. During the incident, there was a fender bender n after paying off the whole amount for the damages the other persons insurance company never sent verification to DMV so it still shows I owe for accident. Have tried for the last three months to get someone from the insurance company to call me back but still have had no luck. I have 3 kids and need to work. Please tell me how I can get a work provisional.

In SC, you most likely will need to get the requirements for that provisional license completed (SCDMV can tell you what is required for your situation). You could also consult with a local attorney for assistance with this process. It would be wise to consult with a local attorney as soon as possible regarding this matter.
