If the case was dismissed then you do not have a criminal record. New York does not allow expungment so the NYPINS computer will always show the arrest but that is not available to employers.

If the case was dismissed then there is no conviction to get expunged. It is convictions not arrests that are important.

If the case was dismissed then you have no record of conviction & there is nothing to dismiss. Have you checked the criminal records division of the state police to see if your record cones up? There is a small fee for you to print out your own record but if you are in doubt it is worth the 10 bucks to get the information.

If the case was dismissed in its entirety you should be able to have the case expunged from your record. It is important that the case was completely dismissed, not reduced or altered.

Possibly, if the case was dismissed. I suggest that you contact an experienced criminal defense attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your situation. He/she would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.

Texas does not have statutory rape. Consult with a lawyer about expunging the case. It will depend on the basis of the dismissal.

Nope. You can only expunge convictions. If it was dismissed, no conviction exists.
