Can I get arrested if my friend got marijuana in mail and has text messages from me saying I was coming over to get it?

My buddy got 1lb of marijuana in the mail and got caught. He then called my phone without me knowing and told me to come over to try to put it on me. I didn't come over I just told him on the phone "I'm busy I'll call you back later" but I was texting him earlier that day telling him I was going to come over when it came in and grab it but was only a small amount to smoke. I'm worried that they believe I'm the master mind of it all and wondering if I should be scared of getting arrested for this. I never went there and I never called him back but I'm still worried the cops might be looking for me.
