QUESTION

Can I get my DWI off my record or reduced?

Asked on Apr 14th, 2014 on Expungements - Texas
More details to this question:
I'm 27 and a college student and a youth pastor at a local church. I received the DWI in central Tx where I live about 8-9 years ago. I have nothing else on my record and have never been in trouble but that one thing. I was a kid and stupid and I have matured and changed my life. I don't even drink period. Is there anyway I can get this off my record. I'm going to school to be a teacher/coach and need to drive a bus.

There is not a way to get a DWI off your record. Unfortunately, the law in Texas is very strict and this offense lasts a lifetime.
