QUESTION
Can I get my open container ticket thrown out?

More details to this question:
A few nights ago I got pulled over. The officer said I didn't use my turn signal. That is true. I didn't use it because I wasn't turning. There is a curve in the road, and there is no other option but to follow the curve. No roads are forking off and no alley, nothing. When he approached my van in the back was a whiskey bottle that had some out, but the lid was on it. It was not near me. I had not been drinking. It had been in there a few days, forgotten. He wrote me a ticket for an open container. Was that an illegal stop? Can that get my ticket dropped?

It sounds like a stop without basis. But before going down that road, view the issue from the police officer's point of view. If it comes done to yours or the officer's version you will lose.
