Can i get this over turned

A person was giving me a ride home on the way he stopped at a convenient store I went in myself we began to back out of the store when he stopped because he saw a vehicles headlights and thought they were pulling into the store it was a police officer passing bye he proceeded to back out of the store and head north the officer came to a light signal heading south the officer made a right turn heading West as we were pulling out heading north the I witnessed immediately as we pulled out the officer was making a u-turn we drove approximately 3 quarters of a mile when she hit the lights and pulled us over for speeding. As she approached the vehicle she explained her reason for the stop and immediately asked if we had any drugs or weapons we both replied no Mam and said she would like to search I felt she didn't have the right the driver consented and I went to jail facing my first felony because she said she found meth in a cap in my general area 100% not mine I can't expect this?
