Asked on Sep 19th, 2015 on Criminal Law - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I am traveling to Canada in 2016 and I received a ticket (let go on property, went to court to pay fine) in 2011. Am I allowed into Canada with this charge and if so what are the steps I have to take? I am going with a group and don't want any issues.

Update Your Profile
Has the charge for the ticket been adjudicated and have you fulfilled all the requirements of the sentence ? You can speak with the court to get these answers if you are not sure. We can correct any shortcomings. You can then go on with your life and go to Canada. If an arrest was involved, you can have the arrest and conviction expunged so there is no record. Please call to discuss. Ed Dimon
