Can I leave the state without permission?

More details to this question:
Once you have been convicted of a DWI-misdemeanor offense and are on probation in Texas you decide to leave the state without permission never to return. what can be the consequences of such an action or what would the state of Texas do.

You will have a warrant for your arrest. I doubt the State will come after you, but if you ever come back and get pulled over then they will arrest you. Maybe they would put it on a national database so that if you are pulled over in another State they could arrest you and then transfer you back to Texas, but it's unlikely since DWI is not that bad of a crime. Now murder is another story. But DWI is pretty small potatoes for the State of Texas.
