Not for a DUI. Reason being that each subsequent conviction of a DUI carries with it a more severe penalty. If your record were purged then it would not be clear as to the number of past DUIs you had

Probably not. It may be that you are asking about the laws and procedures of another State, but in Wisconsin history is history, and there is not to my knowledge expungement of drunk driving convictions. It always helps to consult another lawyer. Not all the wisdom lies in one mind alone.

In Missouri, you can get a first-time misdemeanor DUI conviction expunged from your record if 10 years have passed since the conviction date and you have had no other alcohol-related law enforcement contacts during those 10 years. You can petition the court for expungement yourself, but it's complicated, so most people hire an attorney to represent them for the expungement.

Nope. Expungement only works on your criminal record in court, and not with the DMV.

In California, DUIs remain on your DMV record for 10 years and cannot be expunged from your DMV record. The DUI convictions may be expunged from the court records, at the discretion of a judge, but can still be used as enhancements for future DUI filings and convictions and will still remain on your driver's license record.

It is extremely difficult, nearly impossible, to have a DUI removed from your driving record.
