More details to this question:
This story starts out innocent enough.. I go to school with his daughter, stepdaughter. We are both the same age. He must have seen me around the school I guess. He has a younger son and I have a younger sister. The younger son was having a party and I was invited to take my sister. I was 14 at this time. I was introduced to the husband and it's a blur in my mind As to who he was. A few weeks later, he messages me on Facebook asking if I want him to buy anything for me. I had no clue who it was, no Facebook picture or anything. Kind of just ******* around I would message back the random Facebooker when I was bored. I wanted these extensions at the time so I asked for them. But never told specifics. I stopped talking to The Facebooker. Then 2 weeks later received a call. He said you don't know who this is but I saw you at a party the other weekend. He confessed that he was the father of my friend. Young and stupid I continued to have small chat with him until 16. So he was grooming me. Sense I was 14 pretty much. Anyways at 16, I go over his house in his sonโ€™s room he gets me drunk heโ€™s aggressive and I say no but eventually Iโ€™m just scared and go along with it. I donโ€™t want to say rape in court because then they'll ask why I didn't go to the police. And the truth is Iโ€™m embarrassed. I look back now like how sick was I. But Iโ€™m now 17 I want to press charges. By the way, heโ€™s like 43. I donโ€™t want this to happen to anyone else which is why Iโ€™m doing this. Also I hope heโ€™s not raping the girl I go to school with as well. How do you think I can win this case? I am thinking about just give me a honest testimony and that's it. I am scared that sense it happened last year and Iโ€™m now 17 theyโ€™ll throw it out.

If you never go to the police then they never turn it down. But I have the feeling they may press charges.

You can file a police report. The prosecutor will determine if there is enough evidence to bring charges.

Testimony is a form of evidence so your testimony of the wrong behavior is evidence. Also, the Facebook messages are evidence. If the IP address can be tied to him, then the prosecutor will likely bring a case. Go to the police. There is no state of limitations on this crime, but the sooner you go, the better the chances of preserving any other evidence that you may not know about or do not remember.
