QUESTION

Can I require my son's killer take a lie detector test?

Asked on Aug 05th, 2017 on Criminal Law - California
More details to this question:
My son was shot and killed by his friend last December. The friend pointed a gun at my son's face and pulled the trigger. One other person was there. He was charged with negligent homicide. They took their statements and they said it was an accident. I don't believe enough has been done. The trial is in October. At the very least, we believe it was manslaughter.

Nope. Lie-detector tests are not admissible in court.
