Can I still get charged if the cop doesn't read me my rights?

More details to this question:
I was arrested for malicious destruction if property. I had no evidence that I did smash the mailbox. I was with a minor, my boyfriend and her boyfriend. Only us girls got arrested for running down the street with a bat smashing a mailbox. There was a witness that claims it was us. The minor got a citation and I got arrested but was not read my rights. I kept explaining to the officer how It was not us because we just left the movies and we were picking up her boyfriends clothes for work the next day. After being arrested they released me 5 hours later and I went home to find out the person s mailbox we apparently smashed was the girl who was with me ex boyfriend. We seen that on twitter he posted " the cops liked my bat though" and " I ran outside with my bat like an old man". There was no evidential proof that we did it. Only a witness. Is there any way I can beat this?
coppers only have to read rights when they interrogate a suspect, not arrest. you need a lawyer. if you are a first timer, an experienced lawyer will know how to get you out of this with no record. you will need to pay for the mailboxes. if you want to fight it the lawyer can advise you on that as well.
