Can I sue the towing company for an unauthorized tow

More details to this question:
I had a car towed from my residential lot where I had just moved in 20 hours prior and was not told about the assigned parking. A neighbor and not the property manager initiated the tow. The entrance of the lot was marked with a towing enforcement sign approx 30 yards from the lot. The sign did end up containing incorrect location information of the tow yard and was not larger than 36"
