QUESTION

Can I travel with a misdemeanor warrant?

Asked on Feb 11th, 2014 on DUI/DWI - Nevada
More details to this question:
I have had two DUI's with the second one leading to some time in jail, unbelievable, considering I was just drinking and driving. Anyway I left the country, I was not a citizen, and I have traveled back 12 times with relatively no issue. I now have to move back for business to the US. Can I travel on a flight to the state where there is a misdemeanor warrant out for my arrest? I just got granted a visa to live and work in America with this on me. I have a business trip coming up. Do I have a chance of flying in or do I fly into another state and drive in?

You should hire a lawyer to go to court to recall the warrant. A lawyer can do this without you present, so it is less risky for you.

Yes, unless you were told that you could not.
