Can someone charged with unarmed robbery get probation?

More details to this question:
If someone has been found guilty of unarmed robbery, but there was no force, no weapon, no harm done to the plaintiff and the plaintiff received his property back prior to trial, or an investigation, can they receive probation? They have no priors at all. They have never been in trouble.
