can two people be charged with the same charges for the same crime and be tried by seperate judges in the same court i am being charged with burglary and criminal mischief and my co defendant is also being charged with ,we have different court dates and different judges ,now the judges switched i have his and he mine half way through and neither one of us have court appointed attorneys because they only have two and they will not contact us back to prepare for prelimanary hearings, we are scared
I have seen the same bag of pot and three people being charged with possession of the same bag of pot. It is called joint possession. These cases were heard by the same judge. Not different judges.
