1 ANSWER

No. A motion to modify (or reconsider) a sentence must be filed in writing within 90 days of the imposition of sentence. If a motion to reconsider was not filed, that may be a good grounds for a post-conviction, particularly if the defendant got a life sentence. However, a sentence can only be modified within 5 years.
