My mom was arrested a couple weeks back. The police said she has a warrant issued for bad checks. The bank for these checks close down in late 1999 or early 200. In 2005, a detective contact my mom about these check, that is when she realize that her checks were stolen. The detective told my mom that he would take care of it and do an investigation. They caught the person back in 2005. Now they saying the warrant was for a citation from 1999. My mom had multiple traffic stop after 2005 in the same city, no warrant came across. Now it 2017, she all of a sudden has a warrant.
