Can you resolve crimes you committed but have not been formally charged with?

More details to this question:
In 2009, I was a drug addict. I committed multiple serious felonies I was never charged with. I was sent to prison (on another case) and have since been a sober and productive member of society. Is there anyway to squash an offense you were never charged with, or just wait for statute of limitations to expire?
You do not want to bring these old cases to anyone's attention. If they had sufficient evidence, they would have charged you. There is no Statute of limitations for felonies. Forget about the matters and move on with your life. Remember, NEVER speak to the police about anything without a lawyer present.
