More details to this question:
I own several head of cattle. I have been building my herd for over 15 years. I have several documents from where I have bought and sold cattle over the years. I sold a calf the other day and now my father is trying to accuse me of theft. They're my cattle, I have receipts from farm expenses for years, checks and bills of sale from where I have bought and sold, and other forms of proof. My father has no documentation, and isn't even supposed to own cattle because he draws disability and receives TennCare. Can he press charges against me for the sale of that calf?

He can try and take out a warrant but based on what you said the state will not be able to convict you.
