More details to this question:
5 years ago I was fired from a job for stealing about $200 worth. Went to court, case was deferred, and was put on probation for 6 months, payed all my dues and went to all my classes. Had charges expunged off record. Then a few days ago for some reason I had the need to take something I couldn't afford. Got caught with $32 worth of merchandise. What are my options for court, I can't afford a lawyer, but I have $300 saved up.

If you can't afford an attorney, the judge will appoint one for you.
