caught with possesion of marijuana under 50 grams

More details to this question:
i picked up my friend and was driving to a house party we got there and i was not feeling well so i left to go home while he stayed there as i left i got pulled over bye the police and they found marjuana in my center console and im being charged with posession i have never been in any trouble before and i wanted to know would it help my case at all if my friend hand writ there own statment on a piece of paper saying they where responsible for the bag of marijuana that was found in the car and it had there signature on it

I thought I had answered this question. The key to success is having one or more of the people in the car take responsibility for that marijuana. If one of the three will take responsibility, then you can have the charges dismissed against you. As such, you would not be utilizing your one and only one conditional discharge. I would save the conditional discharge for a more important charge against you. I would utilize an attorney to make sure that the charges were either dismissed or were subject to a conditional discharge. I would then have the arrest expunged.
