cds charge but lawfully have prescription.

Pulled over. I was the passenger. I had a schedule 4 prescription medication, lorazapam that was legally prescribed to me and i was still charged after informing the officer I had a prescription. I have proof and the prescription that it was mine but still charged with the cds. What will be the outcome after proof is shown in court to the prosecutor?

you should provide the police and the prosecutor and the judge with the doctor's report indicating why you have been prescribed this medication and the history from the pharmacy of receiving the medication. you want to demonstrate that you have one doctor who prescribed the medication and why. you want to demonstrate the use of one pharmacy. yopu should do this asap. you should get supporting documentation from your family which speaks of your condition and medical care. please call if we can help. ed dimon
