Asked on May 25th, 2013 on Expungements - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
I was convicted of a felony in the state of NY and PA. Its been over 15 years. What can I do to remove them from my record? It has been almost impossible to get a decent job because of this. I am nowhere near the individual that I was so many years ago. Please help.
In PA you can only expunge crimes you were not convicted of, i.e. those that were nolle prossed, dismissed, withdrawn or you were found not guilty of. If you pled or were found guilty, you cannot expunge. You may want to get your criminal history from the the PA State Police to make certain if you were convicted and exactly what specific crimes.
