QUESTION

Customs & Border

Asked on Aug 11th, 2022 on Criminal Law - U.S. Virgin Islands
More details to this question:
My fiancé and I visited St.John this past week with our children, my mother and another family as a graduation gift to our kids. He borrowed a suitcase and there was a magazine clip of 30 rounds NON automatic/AR related bullets that was stuck behind the liner of the suitcase. He is now in Alexander Farrally waiting for his hearing at 9am! I had to come home on our flight because of my children. How do we get him home? This was purely accidental as everything we did was as a family. We also do not understand how we managed to get too VI with it from Charlotte Sc in the first place.

I think you missed labeled this question. It doesn’t appear to be an immigration question. Unless your fiance is an immigrant with or without a Green Card, you must speak with an immigration attorney ASAP. Most immigration attorneys offer a free consultation, so you should be able to get your questions answered at no charge. You will also need to speak to a criminal law attorney.   Greg Dann, Esq., MBA Immigration Attorney   GAD Legal, LLC www.gadlegal.com Gdann@gadlegal.com Office: (888) 315-4828 Fax: (412) 847-5885
