I hired a lawyer I paid him $1,700 to defend my husband on his case but he had never been charged he still haven't been charged so two days ago he told me that he was dropping his case because I didn't take any more money into him so I asked him do I get any money back he told me no he never did any paperwork that I know of only thing he did is when I called him he called me back to let me know that his court date has been passed he didn't give me a copy of the contract I had to call and ask for a copy of the contract
