Do i have a defense in a case where i was drunk and commited property damage?

More details to this question:
I was out for a night on the town. I became inebriated and was posing for a picture on a concrete fountain. It collapsed while a police officer was across the street watching. I weigh 140 pounds and brought down a concrete structure. I have almost zero recollection of the incident. I am being charged with criminal mischief in the first degree. I agreed to pay for the fountain in exchange for the charges to be lifted upon completion of payment. Due to financial restrictions, i have not been able to make payments. They're opening the charges and have mailed me an arraignment statement. I need to know if i have a case or i should just go in blind and accept the charges. I do not want to go to prison for 1-5 years. I'm young and on the verge of enlisting into the air force to help support my fiance and baby-on-the-way.
If possible, you should raise the money for the restitution and offer through your attorney. The cost of fine, probation fees and the restitution that the court will assess are more than the amount to repair the damage. The risk of jail is very real
