QUESTION

Do I have any options?

Asked on May 09th, 2014 on Criminal Law - Florida
More details to this question:
I have been wrongfully accused of felony theft. A false police report has been filed, and I have been placed under police investigation based upon accusations. I have been intimidated and threatened with arrest on multiple occasions without the existence of any evidence to support the charges. It's been three weeks and no charges have been filed, but I have retained an attorney. I've made the officer aware, but he has refused to acknowledge notification. Upon notification via phone, he hung up the phone upon my attempt to relay contact info. When brought up in person, he disregarded my comments. He continues to come to my place of work multiple times per week. I am being directed to make regular calls to him as an "alternative" to unannounced visits to my place of employment, in conflict with the legal counsel. As a result of this endless goose chase of an investigation, I've been placed on administrative warning and my continued employment is now in jeopardy. Do I have any options?
