Most attorneys offer free or low-cost consultations where you can get an idea of what punishment your son might be facing if convicted and for you to better gauge whether you can handle the matter yourselves. Possession of marijuana is a charge that has many collateral consequences, especially for juveniles. Further, every juvenile court handles those differently, so having someone to help you that knows the court is important. There are also certain actions that an attorney can take on your son's behalf that you and he simply cannot.

Please note that this does not constitute an attorney-client relationship nor is it legal advice.
