Does a restricted license go from state to state?

More details to this question:
I have a restricted license in Virginia and I am moving to Florida in August. I have had my restricted license for a little over 2 years and will be up in February 2015. My question is if I move there will they honor it or what do I need to do? My restricted license was over a DUI in 2012?

It is good for 30 days, then you need to have a Florida DL.
