QUESTION

Does moving change misdemeanor charges?

Asked on Nov 20th, 2021 on DUI/DWI - New Jersey
More details to this question:
In the state I grew up, Arizona, I had a criminal speeding ticket that I pled down to a misdemeanor. Now I live in a state, New Jersey, where that is not considered a misdemeanor. I would like to change career paths, but I will not get accepted if I have a misdemeanor on my record. Does being in a state where this is not recognized as a misdemeanor change how the charge looks on my record?
