QUESTION

Driving without red stickers in nj with *just cause*

Asked on Apr 15th, 2015 on Traffic Violations - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I was pulled over for speeding today, and the police officer also slammed me with a court appearance for not having red stickers on my fiance's car. So here's the thing, in new jersey, after a year of driving on the provisional license, you no longer have to use the red stickers, however, I never renewed my license, because I kept forgetting, but it has been almost two years. My question is should I update my license, or will they not accept that because it was done after I was pulled over? Or should I keep the one I have? I figured if I renewed it, it wouldn't be so bad, as long as I brought the old one along.

You are correct. Correct the old license and bring both with you to court and say you made a mistake.
