Expunction of guilty plea misdemeanor charges from July 1999 in williamson county, texas. One attorney said, if it was GUILTY PLEA you can not do it.? I am laid off from job and it is hard to find job because of background check.

That's true. If you plead guilty, you will be stuck with the conviction on your permanent criminal record. However, you may have certain post-judgment remedies available to you. It just depends on the circumstances of the case. What were you charged with? In what court did you enter the plea? Why did you enter the plea that you entered?
