More details to this question:
I was charged with a non violent felony in NC in 2001 I sold a ring that was not paid for jeweler had me charged for obtaining property under false pretenses. I had poor representation at the time consequently I was charged. I bought the ring back but was still charged I want to know with the new law in NC am I eligible for exspongement Thank you
Since you dont even know what happened to you in 2001, i would sugggest hiring a local NC lawyer to run your crimnal history to see if you were convicted. if you were not convicted, you can expunge all of the arrest records.
