failure to identify

More details to this question:
On my first dui i was to drunk to do anything. This happened several years ago in texas. It seems when the arresting officer asked me my name i had no clue whatsoever so they asked me about the registration on the vehicle. They asked me if i was X and i claimed i was X . They took me to the local luck up and asked me my name and due to how overwhelmingly drunk i was i was unable to answer. They searched my pockets and found one of my friends dog tags that matched X on the vehicles registration and signed me into the lock up as X . Upon my court hearing i told the judge that i was not X and instead told him i was y and he said he would fix the situation and clarify it. Since then i am still known as X and due to that cannot find a job. What can i do because every step of the way aside from the original lockup i have told everyone who i am my probation officer even knew who i was but still nothing has been done please help.

The solution is to amend the conviction records by filing a Motion Nunc Pro Tunc. The attorney you hired to handle the case should be able to get this done for an additional fee.
